All-In-One Homeschool Curriculum Guide

rainbow books.png

An all-in-one curriculum is a popular option when it comes to homeschool curriculum. It takes guesswork out of curriculum selection. An All-in-One curriculum is simply this::

  1. the company or curriculum writer produces every subject of their curriculum

  2. the curriculum company provides a full curriculum using lesson plans they wrote which coordinate with resources they may/may not have written.

Some thing to keep in mind with All-in-One companies::

  • This does not mean you cannot purchase single subjects from these providers.

  • These companies offer lesson plans, teacher manuals, workbooks, student resources, online academies, or video courses.

  • Cost is not being analyzed here, as that is a personal decision to be made by family.

We do not want to ignore secular options— Secular options are harder to find as an all-in-one that has stood the test of time and proven itself academically or by user review. If you are interested in building your own curriculum using options preferable to you (secular, etc.) then please read our post designing curriculum posts, Part 1 and Part 2. We still encourage you to read through this and look at these websites as they will be helpful as you learn what homeschool curriculum is, in general.

There are so many Curriculum providers to choose from, but we will highlight a few of them here along with relevant links. We encourage you to take some time to look through their resources, and follow our 5 step Guide to Understanding Curriculum if you have more questions about how to check out curriculum resources. Finally, we are not ranking cost as expense is an individual consideration. If you are interested in free or low cost curriculums first, please read our post here.
